Thank you very much for your sharing, especially the advice to newbies. It was very fortunate for the new joiners of the night to have some ice-breaking games to help them blend in. I might have mentioned I joined another club before and it was totally up to the newbies to help themselves -- it might be easier for the ladies as they tend to be surrounded by the senior members all the time, but hard luck for the guys. And yes, I was the only new guy that night so it further made things look odd.
Re first impression, it's so true people often judge by his/her intuitive sense. But I also had an experience proving my first judgement was wrong afterwards. It was a bit regretful but still , c'est la vie. See if we have a chance to meet up and we can share more.
I am still figuring in my mind how the game was like if one of the players is non-Chinese speaking. Wasn't it too demanding for him throughout? Well, ok, as I figured, it was fun more than the result.
Hmm...really looking forward to being in the club.

Really enjoy reading Queen's first-hand report (Although it takes a while for an English fail student like me XD). Cannot agree more with the last part you mentioned about "Body Language". Yeh, it is fun to read through touches, although it comes to misunderstandings as sender and receiver have their own perspectives (males usually think so much, of course XDD). Sometimes it comes to an unexpected alternative result, but I still think it is kind of the beauty of it...from unknown to consensus without too many words...:)
It's better for me to stop here as I know it's a tough challenge in reading my Eng. Happy CNY. I hope there are chances to meet you in the future so we can talk more XD.
